Model 19-9946-01 hopper car (mineral wagon)
Model 19-9946-01 hopper car is designed for transporting non-toxic and non-poisonous loose goods requiring protection from precipitation by railway networks of Ukraine, CIS countries, and the Baltic States with 1,520 mm track gauge.
Hopper car is equipped with hand-driven unloading mechanism which enables dosed unloading. Cargo is unloaded into inter-rail space through six unloading hatches located pairwise.
In order to prevent vacuum creation inside the body during unloading, the car is equipped with anti-vacuum valve, the drive of which is connected with the locking device of unloading mechanism handwheels.
Service life of model 19-9946-01 hopper car is 30 years.
